The Facebook Verizon Icon that's pushed to every ones phone intalls a version of Facebook that isn't available through any other means. Version 1.6.0.22 which works with all OS 5 versions. I'm rocking it right now on .230. You must isntall by selecting the Facebook Icon that comes with the OS. Most of you may have it hidden by now. Un-hide it and install.

Alright so who's gonna be the hero and have the adoration of crackberry enthusiats everywhere by posting the cod files for all to download? simply use BBSAK to extract the cod files and put them on this site. i'm sure lyr will createan ota download link and others will be able to load them via BBSAK .... Wow OP's right. 6.22 works on 5.0. I've never hosted files before, but if you just go to Facebook's mobile site and at the bottom it says "Download Facebook for your Storm", follow the links and you've got it

i just installed it by going to facebook.com, scrolling to the bottom, and clicking "download facebook for your storm"

brought up 1.6.0.22

No reason to download it if you not on 5.0 because there is absloutly no diffrence with the previous verision except this works on 5.0
