Keep mine on 10 but whenever I use FlashLight it changes the level to 100. Although when I go back into the options to change it back to 10 it still says 10 but if I just 're-click' the 10 it lowers the level back.

Anyone heard of this being a bug with FlashLight?

How about your backlight timeout? Again, default of 30 seconds for me.

I have mine set to 100% and also have auto dim backlight turned off, the battery life is not effected that much as far as I can tell, I charge my battery over night, every night regardless of how much power it has at the end off the night.

So I always have a full charge every day before I leave the house, so no problem with battery drain.

After reading a few posts on "How to save battery life" I changed my LCD brightness to 10% and my backlight dims after 1min.

Also as a side note, I turn off WiFi and Bluetooth when I am not using them. For instance while in the office I am connected to my corporate WiFi but I don't need Bluetooth so I turn it off.

But when I'm in the car driving to and from work I turn Bluetooth on and turn off WiFi. Some people might say this is too much trouble but I think a few clicks is worth the amount of battery life I save.

mine is on 10. I used to have it at 100 all the time but after a while the brightness just became annoying. I have not noticed any change in battery life after lowering it to 10 though.

Oh, and I set mine on 10, auto dim on (useful to dim the backlight even more when I've turned off the light in my room)
