um i'm not too sure...i have 4.5.0.169 and it works fine..so you can try and if it doesn't work then you can upgrade your OS by going to the blackberry website and finding your service carrier and they should have an update there..Sorry for being no help on this one but i don't want to tell you a lie.

I OTA downloaded it but it didn't show up under the themes after I rebooted...is it cuz I have 4.3.0.161 and not a 4.5 OS? And if so can someone put a link with instructions on how to download and install the new OS...I'm kinda new to the upgrading part of BBs...thanks...any help appreciated

I haven't made any themes for anything but the curve, but since this one didn't have any svg's or anything then i can get that for ya and i'll PM you when i get done..
