I was just thinking about this and if it's just me I understand but why Verizon got the update and once again sprint customers are getting the shaft. I just figured I ask! I remember what happened with the 8330 update and really don't want to wait a year and a half for that to happen

if your BB works fine now, why worry? Its out of your control you can risk it by downloading off the BB site but you would have to delete the vendor file, but I dont know how to do that

Funny people get so obsessed with getting the newest software. If your phone is working, who cares? If you want the newest build, install it, there is no need to wait for Sprint.

Install the update and pull the vendor file.
I would wait anyways. From what I am hearing it hasn't improved anything noticable.
But by all means go for it.

I've got to say, 4.5.0.169 is a noticeable improvement, and the hybrids based on it are starting to rock.
