I wish to officially express my UNDYING love for the Bold, but like young love, I must say good bye soon... *tear drop*

I'm a tester and tech support specialist for my company, and currently use the Bold, Curve, and Tour. Since the Bold's tester contract is up soon, it will need to be returned to AT&T, and I'll be stuck with the Tour as my permanent. Trust me, I've fought this. This makes my heart heavy. The Bold has been rock solid, and perfect balance of elegance and performance. The keyboard is perfect and I much prefer the screen size and ratio. I'm not happy with the Tour at all, and have experienced all the flaws that are being reported by other users.

They'll have to pry this Bold out of my cold, dead hands...

I was wondering, now that the new Bold 9700 is coming soon to T-Mobile. Have they totally abandoned the Bold 9000 style/form factor? I haven't heard any news of updating the 9000 to have the some of the same features as the 9700, but keeping the same size and screen ratio. I know myself and many others here prefer the 9000's style.

I'm even contemplating on leaving T-Mobile so I can have a 3G Bold. I have a G1, but I'm finding myself using my work phone more and more. It's that lack of 3G on T-Mobile's network that's got me all twisted inside.

Also, has the Blackberry Pluto project been totally shelved as well? A larger Bold 9000 with a touch screen would be amazing. I know the pics floating around the internet were photoshop'd, but I guess a tech geek can dream right? If that ever comes to fruition, whatever company gets it first, there's where I'll be going.

I'm so glad we have this forum so I can vent to my fellow Bold users...

Great post there should be way more people replying to this one. sorry you have to give up your Bold that totally blows i dont think i could part with mine, especially not for an upgrade to the 9700, which seems to be a great device but not a Bold replacement they should rename it before releasing. Anyway i never heard of this touch screen bigger bold that would be cool i may have to look into that where exactly have you seen these photoshopped pics at.
