I was just playing with 5.0.0.230, and I was looking at the options in the Precision Zen Theme. I noticed that there is a choice for "today" under the choices for 1,2, or 3 rows of icons.

I have never noticed this before. Is this something new to the latest 5.0 builds?

No it was introduced with the previous 5.0's.

It was in .140. So not necessarily new, but still a great feature.

okay.....I was pretty sure I had never seen it in a 4.7 build before. That is a great option to have!

I still like my theme better than the PZ theme, but the PZ is free.

Does anyone know if it's possible to edit the settings? I switched it to the "today" setting and the calander was all the way at the bottom, and the font was a little to large for my tastes.

I dunno.....it would be nice to be able to edit the today layout. calendar shouldn't be at the bottom! also, who needs a list of phone calls on their today? It should have Email, Calendar, and SMS/BBM.

if you are holding the phone in landscape mode, press the BB button. then select "options" and you'll see the page. the pic above is from 5.0.0.230 OS. OS 323 is a little differetn looking.

you are posting in the Storm section. I have no idea if your OS is the same as the Storm OS.........probably not though.

I would use the Today feature but it is practically useless the way it is now. You can't configure it and it only shows 2 items.

i agree. I amn using the zen today theme right now though. the memory leak from my other theme was bugging me. I really miss it though. the today function on the zen is a weak attempt. like you said, I cazn only see 2 calendar events, and it is redundant to have both phone and messages on the today section. when I miss a call, the missed call shows up on both sections - messages and phone. plus, it would be nice to have a bottom dock with 4 app icons on the today screen.
