Is one having issues with facebook today? I get a Notification, I click on the link and wont open. I get a drop down menu: open, delete, Got to Mobile Site, Options and Full Menu. I click on Open and Nothing happens. Anyone with same issue? I uninstalled and Install twice, No luck.

Same problem here. Its a problem on the provider side I think.

THere are a bunch of threads on this already. It appears to be a FB issue because many BB users from different carriers report similar issues.

I hope they fix the problem soon, it's really annoying I can't open status comments and have to go to the mobile site. My problem started yesterday evening.

I'm getting the same. Also my LED doesn't go red when I receive an alert although the new alert icon shows up.

Same problems with links to comments and friend requests not working as well as not always getting the red light to turn on upon getting a new message. I first thought it was due to running Lyricidal's 7v1, but it looks like it's on different OS's and phones... RIM? You listening?

I get the notfication but not the light, just the little star that shows up on the facebook app, when I open it gives me options to either open it delete it go to mobile site and when I hit to open nothing happens, Im glad Im not the only one having this issue.

This has been happening to me ever since I got my 8900 a couple weeks ago. My only problem is not being able to read Status Comments.. Any idea when the bug will be fixed?

Having the same issues on my Verizon 8330. And all of a sudden it is sucking memory, out of control

Same problem here. Started a few days ago. Tried updating my phone with the 8330 OS, tried updating Facebook app. Nothing.

Everytime I get a message on Facebook, my phone blinks (red light), the little red icon pops up, but when I click to read it, it gives me the drop down menu: Open; Delete; Go to Mobile site; etc.

Sometimes it won't even alert me to a new message, but if I check my Yahoo! inbox, there it is.

This is getting highly frustrating.

Same issue here, thought it was the hybrid/theme issue being i just upgraded both. Glad that I am not alone on this one.

A friend of mine said she fixed the issue playing with the application security on the Facebook side and that fixed the issue. I haven't tried it yet, so I cant confirm
