    Hello all..

I set up one of my personal e-mail accounts (Verizon.net). When I send to a couple of people, my mail is being flagged by their spam servers.

They looked into it and my mail is coming in as being FROM [email protected] kberry.com instead of my e-mail address.

Any way to fix this? Also - is there a place where I can edit the SMTP server being used by this account? I can only find where to edit the POP server.

    Thanks!

Mail passes through RIM's servers so you only need to set the incoming mail server. I guess this means you don't get to chance the outgoing SMTP mail server.

But, where will the outgoing emails be stored? Is it not possible to let the outgoing emails be stored on the "personal email server"?

If you're using a POP setup then the outgoing mail is stored only on the blackberry. If you're using an IMAP setup then the outgoing mail is stored in the mail servers sent mail folder.

However it would still be sent through RIMs servers using either setup.
