So here's the deal. I'm fairly new to making themes, so I'm very open to tips and rational suggestions (and irrational ones if enough people agree) to add to the theme from anyone who has purchased theme, or plans to. I've priced the theme, in my opinion, reasonably. I'm not out to gouge people or get rich creating themes. That being said, all updates are free of course.

Thanks. If you couldn't tell from the description, I loathe navigating new themes where I don't know what any of the icons are and having to scroll over each individual one to find out what it is.

This looks great, I totally agree about the standard icons comment, I hate when you have to learn new icons. Some might call that boring, I like things simple.

A question on the weather thing...

Being in the UK the only weather app I've found that finds my home town is BBWeather. Will this display correctly up top like your screenshots with the temp etc? Currently my roll over description is the currrent conditions. Can you check if this works?

Nice theme. Some feedback (take it however you wish):

(1) I use WeatherBug and the icon doesn't appear selected when it's highlighted. The only feedback that I get that it's selected is the temperature readout gets displayed. Would prefer to highlight the icon just like the others when it's selected.

(2) the color of the selected messages is hardly discernible from the other messages. The first time I selected multiple messages, I didn't know that it actually worked. Many times, I select multiple messages to delete and would prefer to have better visual feedback that the messages I wanted to select have actually been selected.

Also noticed that new messages displayed in the hidden today are not selectable (at least with the "Messages" folder as icon #1). Moving up goes to the sound profiles.

Giggity giggity goo, it's upgrade time!

I've updated the OTA file for the newer version and I've also included a desktop download file that contains all 3 versions of the theme. To have all versions to put on your phone you'll need both. To install the desktop version you'll need Desktop Manager.

Glossy Black 1.1 Changelog

Glitches/Problems -

- The lock screen is now unlocked (now that's Meta!) so your main background will display on your Lock Screen.
- The backgrounds on the menus have all been darkened for better readability and a 19.4% increase in sexyness
- Navigation on the home screen has been tweaked for better usability
- The Weather icon now has a focus when you roll over it

New Features -

- The banner now has 2 hidden icons
- When you scroll to your Time you can launch the Clock app
- When you scroll to your signal you can launch the Manage Connections app

New Versions -

- GlossyBlack without Today
- It's the original without any Today area
- GlossyBlack with Quicklaunch
- The BB icon in the middle of the screen is now a real icon that will activate Quicklaunch if installed

How are you guys getting the weather icon? Mine is still the maps icon and i can not get it to change to save my life...=/

All you need to do to have the weather show up is place it as your 7th icon (the first icon on your second row). It'll pop up on your main screen from there.

Is there a trick to getting the blackberry icon in the middle to work for quicklaunch?
I have quicklaunch installed but I can't access the icon in the middle of the home screen.
