i mean it helped me, so i thought i might just try and put the info out there to possibly help someone else who had this issue(and again, it worked for me and should work for your phone also) . well i think im late on this anyway. but i couldnt find this fix when i was looking for it.
well anyway , i was looking for a fix to help speed up my storm when its taking a picture(because it was horribly slow :[ ) and also to kinda help with the quality, and i changed the white balance to :night. and it takes pics as fast as my bb tour, if not slightly faster, and thats an acceptable speed. and it seems as though the pictures look more clear also, just my opinion. and ya, im running 4.7.0.151, so idk if thats part of it or what...but ya, just hoped it might help someone and maybe i would be able to make a contribution to this, the site of all sites ... aha yup :]

Reason: to add something...
I've also noticed the speed increase between .151 and .167. I just turned off image stabilization and I can even get good action shots. I have some good pictures from my sister's cross country meet. Also plenty of my daughter running around when they would have come out blurry before.
I gave this a try with my Storm 9530 (running .148), and it made a huge difference on an interior picture. I'll have to play around with it outside and see if it still holds true. I was going to upload the two pictures I took for comparison (one with the white balance set to "night" and the other with it set to "automatic"), but the one set to "automatic" was 746 kb, which exceeds the limit for an attached file (although the same picture taken with it set to "night" was only 409 kb).
Here is a link to the "automatic" picture, and if you click "next picture", that should take you to the "night" picture, if you're interested in comparing:

i just turned the image stabilization option off and also changed the white balance to night...both helped extremely. even thought there was an extreme update in cam speed from the previous OS to .148 . thank you for all the suggestions bb abusers
Thanks for the info. This helped me out a whole lot as well. This came right on time because I'm going to a kids bday party at Chuckie Cheese's in a few hours.
