    I wiped my phone with BBSAK and now when I run the loader reads the phone and says: "The BB device does not have software for the device that is connected. Call your service provider"

    Am I off to the VZ store in the morning or can you guys help me out?

    did you download and install an os for the phone?

    Yes, it is installed on the pc in the shared directory.

    Yes the vendor.xml is deleted

    Try downloading a different OS and also restart your computer after an installation of an OS give that a try.

    Why did wipe? Sounds like u did not dl a os on your computer. If u read the stickys u can fix ur phone. There is really no need to go to VZW.

    I wiped for the first, all went perfect. Make sure your. App loader recognizes the device, then its easy from there.

    I did a 3 finger salute. Tried to load .148 official, no joy.

    Phone screen says: Reload Software: 507

    I'll read the stickys.

    this may sound dumb but did you DL the correct OS not for the 9500 etc... But seriously try redownloading a different OS. The links from choosing an OS thread are good. If all else fails reinstall DM

    Halleluia! Fianlly got it.

    Loaded .148 as admin and it finally grabbed it.

    No amount of battery pull re-insert as the loader was starting as it said in the sticky would work.

    Anyway, I am a happy man again. Couldn't bear the thought of standing in line to talk with those people at Verizon.
