I'm using a 9530 and randomly it turned on a password without me asking it to do so. It let me select the password, so I can still access the info on the device, but I don't want the password there in the first place and when I go to Options>Password, I don't have the option to disable the password (it's set to enabled with a little lock symbol indicating the 'option' can't be changed).
Anyone experience this problem before? I don't want to have to wipe the phone, but if I have to, I will... I'd just rather not waste the time if I don't have to.

Verify in options>memory that encryption mode>none. Idk about BES but certain functions require u 2 set password e.g. encryption & content protection.
