I've tried BeeJiveIM, IM+ and the RIM clients. All three have horrible memory leaks. BeeJive is probably the least guilty culprit but it can still get pretty bad, down to about 15-20MB from 30MB. IM+ works great for about the first day you have it on but i was down to 10MB from 30MB pretty soon after that. And the RIM clients are just a little worse than BeeJiveIM. Are there any other decent IM apps without memory leaks?
BeejiveIM works great for me and no memory leaks on my Bold, I start with 58MB after a battery pull and I'm on my 5th day w/o a battery pull n I'm only down to 52.4MB... It might be your Storm or the OS
