Thanks for the update! Downloading it now.. Now to just wait for some type of update for Google Maps.. I don't think this will be a Google update, though, will it? Either way, we may end up waiting quite a while since Sprint or Google will be a lot slower than smaller companies like Poynt in releasing updates for new devices I would imagine.

it never finds me by gps. whenever i use "find my location" its always in about 500 meters.

Google maps doesn't work for me either, the closest I got was 200 meters or so and I have to keep clicking find my location. The sprint nav takes 1 second to locate me. Weird. I'll definitely have to check poynt out!

I am confirming that Poynt works with Sprint GPS now. Just make sure to go to Options -> advanced options -> applications and uninstall the old version completely. Then go to bb world or Poynt OTA link to download the new version.

Google maps still has no GPS lock.

Are you sure you're not on Verizon? If you are on Sprint, then you have no GPS lock with Google maps (it locates within 500 - 2300 meters at most via triangulation).

I don't know what to tell you, it shows the building I'm in here when I hit "My Location" in the menu.
Of course I have GPS fully enabled..

BB maps works fine, but I like the gmaps better, haha.

New Poynt works for me now... Old didn't before.

G-Maps still doesn't work with GPS, but as others have stated it works using cell towers...

Come on Gmaps... lets get it to work like poynt...
