This morning, I noticed that my time is about 20 mins off from the network (compared to my GF's Storm). I went into Options > Date/Time and it is set to Network. Done a long battery pull and the time still is not correct. Decided to use ##000000, enter vzw into the SIP Password field, menu > Save, and reset the device. It says Write Successful, but doesn't reboot anymore. Before QuickPull, this is the only way I rebooted my Storm. Now, it doesn't work anymore.

Does anyone know if this functionality was disabled with .151 (my current OS)? I also got the VZ Tones icon pushed overnight...wondering if it screwed up the time.

Overall, I really want to know how to get my time sync'd back up with the network. Any suggestions?

In the date/time section make sure you hit the BB key and select update. My time gets off fairly often, but not that bad.

I'm not sure about your question, but in order to fix my time I always go to Options-->Date&Time-->BB Button-->Update Time (mine is set to "network"). Does that not work?

Got the time issue squared away. Had to set it to Blackberry, then back to Network. Seems syncd up for now.

The ##000000 still doesn't work though. Any ideas about it?

Leave the sip password blank- that should only be used as temp fix since can cause problems if you're roaming.

Are you pressing send after the ##000000 ?? Worked ok for me, and works ok in 5.0.

It lets you edit settings such as what number shows for my number and such. These settings really shouldn't be messed around with unless you know what you're doing, need to change your my number, and such.

Yeah, I press send after ##000000 and enter vzw as the SIP Password. I used to do this daily to reset my phone, now it says Write Successful but goes back to the dial pad. Weird...

Why don't you just do a battery pull to reset your phone? I'm confused as to why you would reset it using the ##000000 option.

I use Quickpull now, but before it this was the easiest way to do it versus removing the case, battery cover, etc... Seemed kind of official with the vzw password and all too.

Oh lol...I never knew you could reset it that way. So then did you get quickpull to work or is it not working still?

Quickpull worked then and works now too. I used ##000000 to reset it before I got Quickpull.

Its probably a different # for your carrier. ##000000 is for vz.

:|...lol? I thought everyone knew this but everytime you go into the SIP thing you have to make a different password. What I do is put in a different letter every time i use it. Try it, oh and you can always use quickpull.
