I was just wondering if anyone has been successful calling into bell customer service and getting their Tour unlocked for free by them? I heard sometimes carriers do unlock your phones if you tell them your traveling out of country.

well the tour is a world phone for bell and comes with gsm card, bell wont unlock at all because of this factor. I dont believe you will be able to unlock the Tour for bell yet.

Is there not the payment method through one of those web sites? Has anyone been successful with that? If so, what's the cheapest one going?

    Hi,
I have read that Bell was not willing to unlock, so I used a "fee" service (CellUnlock.net) at a cost of $30 CAD using crackb50 discount code.

The process was painless and I received the unlock in 3 hours or so. Worked fine the first time.

Now I need to find a good source for a SIM card for an upcoming Australia trip.

    Thanks,
    Todd
