I'm using the Z9i. I worked well with my Curve. But with the Tour, it sounds like crap. Voice quality is not good. I hear alot of static. Also a continuous humming sound in the background.
So... I'm thinking I should try a different headset, but want to ask everyone out there which headset is working really good with the Tour?

I am also using the Z9i with the Tour and it works great! No static at all and a range of about 30 ft before any break up or dropped connection.
Maybe the Z9i is bad or I have seen some having BT problems on their Tour.
I use Jabra bt8040. It has A2DP profile which can stream high quality audio. It's not Moto S9 (which I use for working out), but for a single ear headset that can stream Stereo, it's not that bad (and it's cheap).
Jabra BT8040. Small, in the ear, and supports stereo playback. A little off topic but does anyone know if the Tour supports custom ring tone play back thru your blue tooth??
I'm with jlank on this. BT8040 is the only way to fly. A2DP, good voice quality, ambient noise reduction. IMHO, as close to a 10 as you can get in the real world.
Does anyone know if the Motorola H680 works with the Tour? It's not listed in BB's tested devices.
It's nice and small (good for female's ears) plus there's a handy magnetic desk charger. This will be my first wireless headset. I don't need a lot of fancy features, but I would like it to be comfortable, small, sturdy and dependable.
try resetting your Z9i, and erase all the previous phones on it...I use the Z9i, and it works great...
I also have a Motorola T505 for my car...great device...
I deleted the Z9i from my Tour. I reset my Z9i so it cleared out all/any paired devices. Did a battery pull. Re-paired the Z9i. I still hear a slight humming noise in the background and sound is still not very clear coming through. Not as much static, but still slightly there.
I called BlueAnt Tech Support and confirmed that 1.1 is the lastest firmware for the Z9i.
I guess I'll have to wait for an OS upgrade and hope it gets fixed... along with the other issues.
Motorola H800. I used when i had the V8 (Razr2), and when i bought the storm, i didnt buy another one.... its great! i love it, the batt isnt a problem, its cheap, sounds great...
