Hi noob here. I did search thru the forums, but what i read im sorry to say i did not understand...

Long story short. I got T-MO in Puerto Rico and im traveling to Toronto. Would i be able to use uma calls and internet thru wifi without getting international charges? PS: i got the unlimited calls & internet package

That's right!

Just make sure that when you make calls, your phone says "UMA" and isn't roaming on EDGE. You can also turn off your Mobile Network just to be sure.

As long as you're on Wi-Fi/UMA, you're good to go.

As long as you make calls to puerto rico. If you call anyone in toronto, you'll be billed internationally.
