All of my contacts on BBM are sending/receiving messages just fine, with exception of one contact....I have tried resending my service books, and the Host Routing Table. (and a battery pull).

    Any possible solutions?

oh I am using BBM 5.0

+1 on that. I had a similar issue on the 4. version and this fixed it for me.

A red X? The persons BB is off or out of coverage.

I have deleted them, and re added them. Same issue will work every so often, but then stop working. It's really frustrating because this is the only contact it happens to.

There red X will show up after awhile but they are still in coverage area. i dont get it. They can still get my text messages, make/receive calls, and surf internet, just wont get my messages

One easy method I was able to do is have them change their status from their BB Msngr from available to unavailable (you will then notice it's already fixed) and then back available. It seems to reset that unreachable status.
