    Hey guys!

So, my internet wi-fi browser is working, no problem. But I downloaded the Gmail and Google Maps applications and both give me the following message when opened:

"Network unavailable: This application requires a working data connection."

Now I`ve given extensive permissions to both apps and still nothing. I don`t know what`s wrong.

I have to mention that I don`t have a data plan with my carrier...all I have is my WiFi connection @ home.

So do I have to get a data plan in order for the GoogleApps to work?! And if so, aren`t they going to use the Wi-Fi anyways?

    Thanks in advance!
