Hey guys, i know that plastic tends to creaks but i was wondering, do any of you guys have an area around the rubber (surrounding the 8900) where it depresses in a bit and creaks? Usually if i had this, i wouldnt mind because it would usually be in a area i dont press but today i found that the area below my bottom volume rocker (above the camera key) that space can be pressed down a little bit (not little little but enough that it can be noticed) and creaks. just wondering if any of you guys have that flaw somewhere

Mine creaks on the top left side. Whatever, I was soo pissed when it first started happening but I've gotten over it although its such a great device, its a shame its made of plastic, I would rather the device be heavier and more sturdy.

You know whats weird is mine did this when i first got my BB so i clicked on thread already expecting others with the same problem but when i pull out my 8900 and double check to see if i still had this problem...it no longer does it anymore, so maybe it goes away with continuous use?

My 8900 doesn't creak either but it has other quirks (shifty keyboard, small black spot on chrome from when I slipped on ice and dropped it..etc)

I guess nothing's perfect. :P If it really bothers you, replacing the bezel may help. I haven't heard of any complaints from people with replaced bezel.

Mine creaks in the bottom right side by the enter key. Its annoying, but its only noticeable if you push on it. No biggie tho. I may see if a bezel replacement will fix this as I need one anyways.

Well my phones brand new so no creeks but im sure extended use would prob increase the chances of creaking since all that pressing might loosen it up a bit

Mine creaks on the bottom part where the T-mobile logo is. The entire bottom part of the rubber including the sides of that separated area creaks ..

Mine creaks, but not that bad. My old 8320 use to creak pretty badly, but this one not really. It only creaks when it is out of its silicone case.

Mine doesn't creak, but the Blackberry/Menu button is a bit loose.

Like Artemis68 said, nothing is perfect :P
