    Yeah. Web apps are just not a good alternative to on-device apps.

    Probably they rejected GMail app for the same reason.

    This is one of my biggest complaints about Apple, I know they are trying to keep control, but it seems like the really good apps are getting denied more and more..........

    Just grabbed it off of Cydia, works great! The only problem is that there is no speakerphone on the dialpad, not a huge deal since my speakerphone sucks anyways..........

    AT&T has the most capacity of all the carriers (post-auction) and if Verizon had the iPhone instead, they would have had the same issues. Heck, even if they didn't have capacity issues, they would still want to stop it.
