Battery pull didn't make it show up on mine. Service books resent did it for me.

yeah it was weird i got the icon on mine too and it wouldnt let me delete it but then it went away with a batt pull i was like wtf verizon is shoving slacker down my throat for

Mine showed up today. Is it a coincidence that my Tour was acting funny today. Horizontal scrolling was slow and I couldnt delete my emails. I ended doing a battery pull and all emails were deleted.
I dont mind the icon so much cause I do like Slacker so I dl'd it.
For people who dont like the service and want to delete the icon has anyone tried downloading the program then deleting it from applications?

I just did a quickpull and no Slacker icon (VZW) anywhere.

I got Slacker on my phone this morning also, I got quickpull so my phone resets every morning by itself.
You cannot delete the Slacker icon off the main page, only hide it. That sucks!
I like Pandora instead.

Yes you can, just delete the service books......but Slacker is the best internet radio program available for the Blackberry...why would you want to delete it??

Came up on mine after a battery pull. The weird thing was that I had it already installed, so I had two Slacker icons afterwards. I just deleted the one I downloaded.
