Platform updated. Battery life sucks on this build. Tabbed browsing included, a bit clunky to navigate tho. Start up time is much faster now too, almost as fast as the bold on 5.0 but not quite

You do realize its not an "official" build right? And do you also realize the 8900 has both a wifi and GPS radio inside which isn't good on battery life for any phone?

Uhm. Yes I am well aware of that. I was posting my experience with this build. Did I indicate anywhere in my post that I believed this to be anything close to a release build?
8900 has wifi and gps wow no kidding, how did I miss that. Maybe I should have been more clear, compared to 5.0.0.100 and later 4.6.1 builds the battery life is not that great.

It really depends on if you are comfortable playing with beta software, it can have unexpected results. In addition to the apps that didn't run in .100 (fb, live messenger etc), appworld does not run on this either (or at least that i've been able to figure it out).
I have a quick question. How do you guys get a working browser with these 5.0 builds? I tried 5.0 and browser facebook (known) doesn't work but my socialscope doesn't work either. Is this something based on your location? Or carrier?

as long as the MyFaves display works partially like it does with .93, I will be happy with this one. Could care less about Crapbook and all the IM clients, I'm not a tween and I have a life outside the interwebs. Thankfully I got out of bed to use the bathroom and checked CB while on the john and gave me something to download. Guess I wont be getting a full nights rest before work in the morning. 2:30am here and download at 85%
