Tried the 5.0 version and can't stand it. Unfortunately I can not downgrade the same way as I upgraded the OS. Please advise

the steps to install are the same. make sure to uninstall the existing os.5.0 from your program.

1. uninstall blackberry 5.0all languages from your pc by going to add/remove programs in the control panel.
2. Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\Program Files (or program files x86if you're using 64bit windows)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and delete everything in that folder
3. install .148 or .151 whatever you like on your PC.
4. Hook up your blackberry to the PC, I highly recommend to wipe with JL commander, but should be OK if you don't want to.
5. go to C:\Program Files \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and dlete the file *Vendor.xml*
6. In the same folder double click Loader.exe and follow the instruction if you wiped with JL Commander, if not select the downgrade option.

if for some reason you upgrade to OS.151, and missing some app's. DL the verizon os.148, using your dm, then reinstall the os.151, again. good luck.

i dont get it. i installed OS 151 no problem when it came out. but after i put OS 5. i cant get back to OS151. so i changed it to 148. and am tryin to upgrade to 151 and cant. i did delete OS 5 from my computer.

I just went back to o.s.151. I had 6 random reboots in one day in a 3 hour period with o.s. 5.0.0.140
