so im watching this video on youtube... and what do you know i see a what looks like a bbm barcode so i pause and scan. takes me to a article online. pretty cool.

just an example dont know if anyone else has already found this but what evs.

Blackberry pins?

I'm confused. I thought the only scanners available to us bb users were for bbm's or that certain type of barcode that you rarely ever see.

I want one that can scan UPC codes and take me to google shopping right away. (yes the same thing the G1 does)

Right only through the new bbm for now or through a third party app.

you have to hold the phone in portrait so as you are looking at the barcode the squares are in the top left, bottom left, and top right corners. it doesnt work in landscape

You can create barcodes and you can get the scanner app from this website Mobile Tagging with QR-Code, BeeTagg and Datamatrix. You can turn any URL into a barcode and put them anywhere and than when someone scans it it will take them to the web page pretty cool.

I go to QR-Code Generator, it even lets you create barcodes in different sizes so they are able to be scanned easier.

Okay, so I downloaded BeeTagg and I took a picture of like 4 different barcodes from the website and normal house-hold items but it makes a repetitive noise (Like Da-nah) and it makes me very angry, can anyone help?
