There are more "new" blackberries out there now than ever before. Of the Storm, Tour, Bold, and new Curve, which one is the best?
I currently have the Storm, but due to poor Verizon coverage where I just relocated my office, I am looking out at the other options. Sprint has the best deal on the plan, but I am slightly skeptical of the Tour. I visited the Verizon Tour (Sprint does not have a model in the stores yet) and found myself liking it less than the Storm. Going back to the trackball from the touchscreen is a downer for me, even though I prefer the full QWERTY and not the virtual one. How does the new Curve compare to the Tour?

Why is the bold so much better that it costs so much more? Its camera is only 2.0 instead of 3.2, can someone please explain?

The Bold cost more because it is the premium model, aimed at Executives.

The truth is, all BlackBerrys cost nearly the same to manufacture. The carriers buy them from Research in Motion, then place them in their product matrix.

The one at the top will always cost more. The one at the bottom will be nearly free, with a contract.

Carriers subsidize their phones, about 50% on average, often much more.

I have owned the 8100, 8310, Bold and 8900 and have to say the
8900 is the best in my opinion.

Twice the memory of the Bold.
3.2mp camera with autofocus and image stabilization
    Higher screen resolution.
    Less bulky form factor.
Dedicated standby and keyboard lock buttons

I would say the Bold as well. Great screen, great keyboard, and wifi plus 3G. But AT&T has no 3G in my area and Sprint is a ton cheaper so it made my decision extremely easy.

Bold. For sure, the comfortable(bigger) size is a huge selling point for me... plus I have a digital camera so I could care less if it has a camera, I have all the apps I could ever want and still have 50MB App Mem after QuickPull. 3G + Wifi, how can you go wrong?? The 8900 not having 3G is an absolute deal breaker, hold the two side by side and render the same website and the Bold will blow it away. The Bold also looks very classy.

Ehh, ive had the Curve, Pearl, Storm, and Tour.... Bold takes them out, who cares about the camera on the phones thats what a digital camera is for, 8900 is good but no 3G, yea it has wifi but not everyplace you will go to will have wifi, yea the bold is bigger then all of them but it makes it more comfy

How can a device without WiFi be the best? And "best network" is completely subjective depending on where you are. My AT&T phone kicks my VZW phone's azz wrt coverage.

    Bold FTW.

When everyone is on LTE, and RIM comes out with a fresh kick-**** OS... I can dream right?

I personally like the Bold the best. It's a really really good looking phone. I would take it over any phone, any day. Why Momm? Why couldn't you have chosen AT&T?!
