    of my screens when typing messages. Is there anyway I can get rid of this? i know it has something to do with languages. Thanks in advance !

    Do you have multiple languages loaded on your device??? Do you have a 8900 or a 9530???

    The only way to get rid of it is to reinstall the OS on your device.

    it is an 8900. how does this happen? i have a storm and i dont want it happening to me, lol. yes multiple languages on the curve. thanks for the responses, guys.

    it just states that your language/Word corrector thingy is set to english. If you alt-enter you can change the language... EN stands for english

    and you have to reload the whole Os just to get it off your screen?

    Can you not remove all languages except for English using the dm? I think this is what I did and I don't have an EN on upper right corner.

    By default it doesn't show anything. When you change languages it will then display the language you are using. As far as I know the only way users were able to remove this indicator was to re-load the OS on their device.

    sefiroh, definitely try what tylerr is suggesting before re-loading the OS. Also please post back here to let us know either way if that worked or not.
