Try the "SEARCH" function. There are several threads already on this topic. Also if your having issues with BBM 5.0 go to options>advanced options>host routing table and register. That fixed the problem for me.
1. Run DM Backup your data
2. delete BBM and reboot your handheld
3. Run update application from DM, be sure to tick the BBM check box
4. Restore your data
