Is there an OTA download for bbm 5.0? I cant load it onto my phone any other way, i have the storm and even after downloaded the new DM, it still says its either not compatible or there are no updates.
i downloaded the new version BBM on my 8900 curve....running os 4.6....it downloaded sucessfully but lossed my icon so cannot open BBM....can someone plz help me i have posted on many threads and forums and no one is helping me plzzz.and i dont know much about computer lingo..so many forums describe troubleshooting ways but i have no clue what they mean...plzz someone help me

Over the Air installs are simple, but, if anything goes wrong, you are left without either version of BlackBerry Messenger.
It is simple to correct the problem, but it does require a Windows computer and a couple of hours to download the correct software.
If you do not feel comfortable with the process, consider asking a friend that has better developed computer skills.

Sorry in advance but I linked to this and downloaded a tiny .jad file...no idea what to do with it. Anybody?
I may be going wrong with attempting to d/l using a desktop rather than the BB itself. I don't have browsing capability with my BB plan, so guess OTA is out. Any zip or rar files around, so I can do this via Desktop Manager?

So I feel terrible! I suggested my friend download this bbm thing and now his bbm is gone, that's like ripping a newborn from a mothers arms! Where do we go to fix this with the "correct software" Oh and fyi this is the equivalent of me asking a friend with more developed computer skills.
