Just picked up a mirage players club card after giving the Mandalay Bay roulette table 1500 bucks in June. Anyone know how comps work for roulette ?
I'm going to the Luxor in Oct for my bday and would love any info I can get on this. We play a lot of roulette... Thanks in advance...

With table games its usually based on average play and time at table so your better off to play for a long period of time rather than go and drop $1500 on one roll, u can pin me if u want I live here and deal with that stuff all the time

So I've never gotten a ball in my life at a game, and we had 12 of us at the Cubs / Cards game on 4/18 this year, and our group walked away with 3 balls total, and a 4th was given to us on the way home!
There was one in the basket when we got there, I caught a BP home run, and Angel Guzman tossed my daughter a ball while he was shagging BP!
And Ramirez hit the game winning homer in the bottom of the 11th, and it landed about 6 rows behind us!
Amazing game.....
Add me when you get to this post, it's 4:30 AM here, and I don't wanna wake you. My BBM is silent always, so it's all good...
I'm pretty much always at the Wynn. Poker mostly, but blackjack, too. It's all about duration. I'm regularly on 36 hour benders. I don't play for the comps, but it's a no brainer to get a player's card. I don't remember the last time I paid for a room.
you have to notify the pit guy when you are playing.. if you go and drop money at a table and nobody(pit wise, not the "dealer") is notified, your play wont be tracked.. you have to actually give someone your card.
you can also get more comps if you play with house credit. when you check in, figure out where you can apply for the credit. your credit limit usually based on a credit card you give them. whenever you step up to a table, you tell them you have credit, and the pit guy will ask you how much money you want, and you sign for it. just keep track of how much you are spending and set limits for yourself. when you check out you just pay what you owe on your "account".

Very important. Otherwise, this option becomes a sucker's nightmare. Personally, I never work with house credit. Sometimes my swings can be too wild.
yep, ive been there twice.. its been a while since ive been there though. theres a card room thats closer to me that i like, but its a lot smaller - the palace in hayward.
We stayed at the Luxor. Both me and the wife have linked mgm cards.. First day I gambled 200 bucks for about 4 hours. Pit boss was cool... Comped us 2 buffets.. Wooo hhoooo ! I came away about 500 over.. Next night me and the wife played 250 each.. House money... She walked away with 700 over, me 400...so all in all we did good.. Played from 8pm to 3am.. Got 140 dollars in comps... That didn't seem like a lot to me..

A lot of people I know like the Bike (Bicycle) Casino, too. But I'm not that impressed.
Going back in April... Gonna stay at the MGM and give that a shot... Anyone wrong way betters here in Craps ?
you an enemy of the state if you do that.. it just seems to upset the balance. i just lay correct odds on my pass line bet and depending on what the point is and what the shooter is throwing, i will lay some other bets.. never hardways, never c, sometimes "yo" or the field. mostly place bets. i never have more than 1/4 of my money on the table at any one time..
Enemy of the state.. That was funny... Actually had a guy on my end of the table wrong way betting to.. Worked out fairly well... I never do hard ways or other BS sucker bets.. Ill play the 6 and the 8 if the point is 10 or 4, craps is the **** !!!!!!!

you talking BIG 6 or 8? some of the worst odds on the table payout-wise. better off placing the 6 or 8.
My bad..placing them.. Then pressing up at least once If they hit... Then taking down the places bets after 4 rolls... AKA "Big als hit it and quit it" style... LOL
