Ok so I installed BBM 5 on my Tour a few days ago and it worked great. Last nite, all BBM did was give me a headache! My messages aren't going thru and if and when they do, it's out of order. Is there any way I can revert back to my old bbm thru an ota dl? I am out of town and need it bad! Help please!

Plug you BB into your computer>Run Desktop manager> Application Loader>Add Remove Programs>Check the empty BB Messenger box>next button!

Same thing was happening to me last night with BBM 5. Reverted back to old one and worked perfect. To bad because I liked it lol

Seems this is happening to everyone, not just a few. Everyone seems to have the issue around 0200 time last night. We will see what happens on crackberry tommorow.

just a heads up. i was having this problem of recieving messages out of order BEFORE i installed 5.0. ever since i switched from the storm to the tour its been doing this. so im not sure if its 5.0 or not

This happens occasionally. It has nothing to do with BBM 5.0. It is some temporary issue with the Blackberry servers. It happened for many last night regardless of their BBM version.

add back in the default messenger from that same screen. You should have 2 versions of BBM. Make sure BBM5.0 is unchecked and the default 4.7 is checked.

My brother and I both had the same issue last night on our Tours and had BBM 4.7 installed.

It was a RIM server issue, nothing to do with BBM 5.0.
