Is there anyway to have the state come up in the caller id when a number that isn't in your phone book calls? I had a Sanyo phone that had the state show up with the number on the caller id screen.

Verizon doesn't do it as well. I don't think any of the BlackBerry phones will do it, if I'm not mistaken. I have the Berry-A-Code app installed on my BlackBerry for this feature. I think they stopped development of the app. You can find a few download links on the web. I know it works for the Curve. I'm not sure if it will work for newer BlackBerry models.

It actually is something that only sprint phones do (excluding Blackberrys).

My Red Razor does it, and i just noticed my blackberry curve dont and both are sprint phones

You need a program called Berry-A-Code.
