As a long time bolt/opera user, I never noticed that the browser replaces the space bar with a period. But going back into bb browser, I noticed this feature. When was it implemented? It's quite nice

But what would make it way better and not redundant is if they replaced the additional period button (where it usually is located) with a slash (very common in urls). Anyone else agree?

This is a minor change, but something that would be quite useful IMO.

Replacing the space bar with a period has done nothing but anger me. There is already a period on the keyboard (between M and "go"). I'd rather have the slash on the main screen since it is more common in addresses than the period.

The bigger problem is how do you input an address that contains a space? Most people aren't going to know to escape it with %20.

Also, without the space bar I can't use my AutoText shortcuts because it won't see a different word.

A web address that includes a space? I don't think there are any, as I thought it was coded as such.

    Care to enlighten me?
