I just pre-ordered my tour as an existing customer...I was morphed into an on-line chat session with a rep, who promised me that the phone will be shipped out on "Sunday, July 12" with a guaranteed arrival on Monday - July 13. She said that Verizon will ship on Sunday to meet the demand. Has anyone else experienced this?

I specifically asked if Fedex would ship it on Sunday...and again the rep promised a Monday delivery...hmmmm!

It will probably ship Friday or Saturday for Monday delivery. I am pretty sure it will not actually ship on Sunday. I have a pretty good idea of how the Fedex system works.

Thanks K. Jensen...a Saturday shipment makes sense (since I pre-ordered my Tour at 4:30 PM on Friday) ..keeping my fingers crossed for a Monday delivery.

There's no way they do shipping on sunday.. Only way you'd get it on monday is if they shipped the phones out early on friday. I haven't seen any of the major shipping companys next day something on sunday. If even if you next day on friday without saturday delivery selected the phone will get there monday.

Ledt's be clear - FedEx does not ship from Verizon warehouses on Sunday. The warehouse will pack your order on Sunday and you may receive your confirmation of shipping on Sunday, but the phone will leave the building on Monday and deliver Tuesday at the soonest (if you chose overnight shipping). Any other information is incorrect.

I just don't feel right about ordering online this way.... A Monday, Tuesday or even Wednesday delivery would have an pretty big impact on our department.... because of course I would have it delivered to work, and then I would spend the rest of the day playing with the da*n thing and get absolutely nothing done the rest of the day. That's why I'm going to pick it up on Sunday and then spend only half the time on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday that I would have otherwise showing it off to my workmates. Yeah Baby!!
