I was given the Storm as a gift this past January, so I can thank my brother for burning my upgrade. And, my brother and dad just upgraded their phones about 5 weeks ago.
However, I completely forget that my grandparents, who recently moved to our area, were put on our family plan (we added two lines). This occurred about a month and a half ago.
I was thinking...could I possibly use one of their upgrades (assuming they have one available...) for a Tour? And even if I COULD use one, would I get the $199 price for the Tour?
If they started with their own equipment (no contract) then you could upgrade. If they got a discount at sign up, depending on the contract term they signed its different. If they signed a 1 year you get to upgrade at 10 months and if you sign a two year then you can upgrade at 20 months.
