looking at getting a bb for the first time. I have been looking hard at the 8900
however, I am not going to be using it for internet or email. I need it for the PDA. Is there any benefit in the 8900 if I don't care about internet? The 8320 is much cheaper.

Just gone from an 8320 to an 8900 myself. The basic functions are essentially the same. The biggest differences are memory (huge) and the camera and screen is much better. You also have GPS on the 8900 that you don't get with the 8320 although it sound like you won't use it.

Other than that (and build) it's generally more snappy but pretty much the same device. Tasks/calendar/PDA type apps etc work the same.

I would get the 8900 personally. But seems like you will be using it pretty casually in which you would be fine with the 8320 (baring you don't care about the camera or screen) if you are looking to save a couple bucks.
