I'm working on my next application called "Leave It On". Im looking for about 15 beta testers to help me test it out, you'll get a free copy when its done for your feedback.

    Description:
When running certain applications (such as Google Maps) there is no way to leave the blacklight on, this app will automatically keep the backlight on once the selected app is launched and running in the foreground. There is also a menu option added system wide that lets you keep the backlight on and turn off whenever you want.

This is just the basics of it, there are more options than this but I wont get into them right now.

Im trying to get a wide variety of devices and OSs so if you are interested in testing please send me a PM with your device model, OS version and PIN (its not for BBM, just so I can generate the activation code for you).

Just started testing it a little while ago and so far so good

Lights staying on for specified apps only
Stays on for the time period selected
Havent been able to test the battery % shutoff yet

The one concern was that 3 specified apps wouldnt be enough however having the system wide menu option should take care of that.

So far its working exactly as it should and would be a very handy app to have.

So far so good. One question. What specifies which app is listed in the menu? I have maybe half of my apps showing up in the menu.

Only running apps will show up. If you want a new app just start the app and refresh the app list in leave it on.

I did notice on one of my apps the "leave it on" feature didnt show up in the menu. How difficult is it to expand the list? Maybe something like the easylock and easy standby apps do. They show a checklist of all apps installed and you check which ones you want the app to work with.

Only running apps are listed. So if you want to add an app to the list just launch it, then click the "Refresh app list" button and it will be added to the list.

Which app was it that it doesn't show up? I'll look into the suggestion. Thanks.

I'll give it a try, do you have a direct link for the download? I dont usually like the idea of having to put my phone number in to download something
