Rumor has it that will launch the same day as Verizon, not July 19th. Sprint is notorious with changing their release date though, so wait for official confirmation. No teasing this morning.
I'm not going to lie but when I saw the 20th, I was scared of being wrong. You can't too reliable that way. I feel good, but personally would had preferred Sprint making it $199 without the mail in rebate crap.
Releasing it on a monday was the biggest clue. That wasn't going to happen, so either Sprint matches Verizon game plan or wait till the 19th. Sprint customers were still complaining about waiting a week, which is ridiculous but kinda justified. People should of complained about the mir instead.

Yes when are going to see this thing in stores? And also the price will be $199.99 after rebates + MIR? I think I'm going to Best Buy. They can play with the prices even price match.

Sprint really seems like they want to stick it to Verizon. Announcing their price point first, and then matching Verizon's date.

Most likely, the 20th. Supply and Demand wouldn't be as bad as waiting for the Palm Pre.

I am hoping it will be on the 12th instead of the 20th. I am due for another International trip and have to be there on the 20th, which means I will have to use the old 8830WE for 2 months as Sprint won't ship the 9630 to an overseas address. I would sure like a new phone as the 8830 is showing it's age.
Here is my problem with ordering via telesales or online. I had a return with in 30days and it messed up my upgrade status. I only show $75 but really it should be the full amount $150. I have been told the only way to get the $150 is to buy it in the store.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had to email cust care to have my contract reversed back to its original end date after I had returned the Pre.
