    I had the same thing happen with my Storm this morning (stuck in headset mode). The steps below fixed the problem for me.

    • I plugged in a headset (headphones would probably work as well) and went into media player

    • Start any song

    • Press the BlackBerry menu button

    • Select 'Activate Handset'

    • Close media player and make a call

    Hope this works for you, let me know.

    I have been dealing with this problem for quite some time. Tried the headset thing when I first heard about it but it didn't work. Then for some reason I gave it another try now about a month later...and what do you know! A functional phone again. Thanks everybody!

    I had the same problem take some compressed air that you use for computers and blow in the ear phone hole it most likely has dust in there.

    nothing to do with dust...lol.....
    it happens sometimes if you unplug your headphones while playing a song.

    jmr7192.....is right.....follow those instructions.
    * Start any song

    * Press the BlackBerry menu button

    * Select 'Activate Handset'

    * Close media player and make a call
