Yes, this piece of art also happens to be slippery and likes to jump out of your hands/pockets while you are in parking lots or rooms with tile floors. A simple silicone case will greatly reduce damage to your Bold in an event like that. A screen protector helps a great deal as well, and is relatively inexpensive.

As a new bold owner, i am protecting it with a click on cover.... but i determine to soon take it off...

the bold definitely looks better without a case. but one slip out of your hand onto the floor is enough to put an ugly scar in your shiny Bold.

Get one of the nicer looking cases, like Case mate's Smart case, invisishield, or seido innocase.

First off, I <3 my Bold. It is hands down my favorite BlackBerry ever.

But I would never call it, or even consider it a "sleek" device.

It's far to big.

But yea, I keep my Bold covered in a nice OEM red silicon skin.

I Wouldnt. A Friend Of Mine Put A Skin On Hers And When She Decided To Take It Off.....it Left This Nasty Sticky Residue That She Couldnt Take Off Without Messing Off The Actual Phone.

Keep Bold Covered In Hard Case Or In Its Oem Case.

enjoy and appreciate the beauty of it. if you're going out or going to be doing something that could potentially scratch it, then a skin is fine...otherwise why cover its beauty.
