Currently running .231 OS and have been noticing a little static/crackling noise on all calls. Can't remember if it started when I upgraded to .231 or if it's just coincedence and I have a bad earpiece speaker or similar. Calls seem to be fine on speaker phone. Any one have any ideas? Bought the phone off Craigslist and unlocked it for AT&T, so warranty is probably not in my future if I have an earpiece issue. I am going to try .250 today to see if by some lucky chance that it is a firmware/radio issue.
    Thanks!

Up to .250 now. Sounds the same, oh well guess I'll live with it till my contract ends in October and I switch to Verizon. It's not too irritating

    Thanks

Correct sir, maybe a Tour or similar will be in my future when I switch to VZW. I have been with AT&T and it's predecessors for nearly 15 years continuously, decided it was time for a change. All my friends in the area are on VZW and are pretty happy, better coverage in most of the areas I roam around is starting to slide towards VZW. Service and texting reliability seems better as well.

I had that same issue. Went through 5 phones before I got one that worked. I have not upgraded my os, so it was definitely the phone for me.

I'm wondering if I have metal shavings in there. I have had that problem with previous phones. Have to see how difficult it is to tear into.

the tour looks pretty cool. How much RAM does it have though. That would be the main question in my book.
