These are not free, however, some want this as opposed to paying the xtra 15/month to Verizon. Search these w/in this forum, as there is much discussion if will ultimately be 'free, as in no monthly bill'. Verizon terms of service and all that jazz.

PDAnet is free to use. The free version just has a popup every so often asking you to pay if you like it. It doesnt hinder its use though. I have the paod version of PDAnet but it is a viable option.
