So i have tried ALL the OS's and hybrid OS's (by lyr only!).
and to start off with....he is the MAN!

    Here is what i found:

starting with .132- was very solid but not snappy!

went right to .148/5.0.93- the bomb!!! but occasionally (rare drop to 1X or 1Xev)

tried 1.48/.151/5.0----both stable and with transitions...while it was snappiest and most stable memory wise.....there was DEFINATELY a typing lag/clock spin problem.....

finally tried .148/5.0.93 hybrid with swap radio .113! (per rec of fellow addict).

NOW i have the speed zip with SOLID 3 bars of 1XEV everywhere! the best on the net.....ALMOST as fast as the ones with the .151 files.

my feeling is to avoid the .151 files as not really made for the 9530.........has a few issues which arent worth it.

my vote for OS right now is the one i mentioned above

    hybrids suck.

don't accept the crappy OS, expect more from RIM devs...

hybrids are fun and all, but only once RIM has done their job.

just my opinion, if you wanna make a ford better by sticking a GM engine in it, go right ahead

Funny how you say that when you're advocating using a hybrid which takes files from an OS built for the Blackberry BOLD and 8900...

More like....... if you want to make a 76 Pinto better, drop a 2009 Mustang 5.0 in along with a F150 tranny. But! what ever you do the radio will always suck in a 76 Pinto. (You have to keep all the parts from the sam company!)

Funny you say that cuz some of the fastest notch back 'Stangs I've seen at the track always have Chevy drivetrains.

Isnt that an Oxy-moron, I mean how can you put parts in a ford and make it better, its just not possible. Ford and Better in the same sentence

Ok, Ok, Ok, so i'm a bit behind the time when it comes to what motors go into what cars. Make it a 1989 Mustang and we can call it good.

Jus FYI... .151 is the future for the storm. its just not backwards compatible with themes.
