    my buddy has had this phone for months now, i live in waterloo where RIM is located, all 40 buildings of it, i can't quite recall but its not slow by any means, if anything its the same as the 8900's or damn close

    I know the 9530 is supposed to be quite "snappy" as I have never used the 8900 I am not sure what the speed is like in real life.
