    I just saw one of my contacts say they had Messenger 5.0. Is this available for Storm now or do we have to wait until we get 5.0 to use it? And if it is available how do I get it?

    It would be nice if they would push out the new BB messenger instead of making us wait on 5.0.

    BTW, is 1st Gen Storm ever going to get 5.0? Or are they going to leave it in the 4.7s?

    Storm 1 should get 5.0 as they stopped working on 4.7

    Yes, almost all of the devices out now will get a 5.0 OS.

    I was looking at the photos of the leaked new BBM on BGR and noticed this (see attached) nothing is written about this but seems like the new BBM is also supporting SMS messages........could this be the threaded SMS everyone is looking for? If so that would be sweet

    idk, maybe they're integrating the sms app into the BBM, or allowing you to view it in BBM format? that'd be cool, give you a choice.

    to have SMS in the BBM format would be fantastic IMO. I used to use a treo and loved the SMS format that phone had.
