i'm having some trouble upgrading my OS and its been like this for some time now. when i had my 8320 i performed this function many times with success however my 8900 doesn't seem to work properly.
for example i downloaded OSv5.0 which is on the blogs page and installed it on my laptop. from there i deleted the vendor.xml file from AppLoader folder and opened up my desktop manager 4.7. i then plugged in my 8900 and it prompted the upgrade as it normally would and i continued by pressing next and began the update. However once it was done i am still at Platform 4.2.0.108 and App Version 4.61.231
if anyone knows the solution to this problem i would greatly appreciate it because i am tired of downloading new OS's and not being able to upgrade. Thanks!
