berry weather is the best. plus there next update is coming soon and it is including radar.
I purchased BerryWeather for my old Curve and saw that the app was also available when I moved over to the Storm. What I found, however, was that it didn't work so well. I keep getting the BB keyboard without a way to get rid of it. Are you having that same issue or did I simply install an outdated version?
EDIT: Basically, is BerryWeather Storm compatible or is it like FreeRange, where it works, but not quite as well as normal apps like Viigo, UberTwitter, BeeJives, or other apps that work just fine...
I love berry weather. WB was killing me on memory and forced me to have BB Maps. Got rid of BB Maps and use Google maps which IMHO is much better.
Same here, however, the new WB is pretty good on memory, and doesn't require BB Maps anymore for the gps part, it's actually better than any other program that I've tried so far.
Would love the little icon on my home screen but so far the couple I tried caused lag even after a few battery pulls.
I tried WB and one ther that I don't recall the name of. Both worked fine at first but after a day or 2 they started to cause some major lagging. Got rid of them and the problem went away.
Going to give the NWS Client a try. Hadn't seen or heard of it before.
Thanks there Carbon Coupe!
I'm surprised Weathereye gets no love. It's configured for the Storm, gives a 5 days forecast, the icon changes and it's free. My memory stays in the 40s so no leak here.
I have a Jonathan Fisher Storm launcher on my custom home screen (Zen Tesla) that goes directly to the active Accuweather radar in one click. Works. I use it to keep me, my family, and my friends updated on important weather events.
