Dude! How the HECK do you download anything from that site??
I'm not exactly a noob and that site is confusing as @#$%!!
It is a link lead u to the download page. I don't know why it shows these words, coz I put It like"http://www...." But I have tried it and it is a perfect link but u need to down load the Raysouce file to download.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
No dice. Installed the Raysource download software (scanned it just in case - can't be too careful these days!), started the download and it just petered out to nothing.
It's not at my end because I checked by trying to download something else. Got nothing, man.
Thanks for trying to help out.
Just click the link for the OS you want and it will prompt you to save the file. Nothing complicated at all.

The 8900 file is fine, but the Bold version is only 31MB. The md5sum of a working 9000 5.0.0.100 installer is 241fc40ec2ec36da2d8d3e1077c19e48 and it should be 95,612,896 bytes.
My Question beyond all of this, is...
IS it worth Downloading 5.0, If it's
1. Not an "Official" OS
2. Going to make the Bold run any Better than Before?
3. Why Not Just Download 4.6.0.282 instead?
Hate to be the Devils Advocate here, But with it not being offically released by RIM...Whats The Stability and so forth?

The Bold one is working fine. i apparently got it from some site that only let's you download 30Mb or so and the file thinks that it is complete. I was too busy to check, but someone sent me a PM (good idea for next time in case I don't check these threads) and I fixed it last week.
