Sorry if this has already been discussed a hundred times.. I searched but did not find anything.

When I am in an area with solid 3G reception, I am constantly having my bold switch over to EDGE while trying to use the browser. It switches back and forth quite a bit. It also ends up on GRPS while I am on a call in the same areas. I know the 3G is good because it will be at 5 bars working great and i have had other 3G phones in the same areas and never had these problems. Anyone else have these issues? Is something wrong with my BOLD?

could be a problem with your radio code, have you upgraded to the latest os?

Try reloading your os,although its more than likely just the signal strengh coming from the cell towers

I upgraded to .266 about a month ago and everything else has been fine. Should I reload it again?

Charlie100 is probably closest to correct here. Your location, relative to the tower, can play some very strange games at times.

Problem has not returned with .217, .237, .247 or .266.

Does this problem occur everywhere or only when you are in a particular area?

Seems to happen in quite a few areas. I travel around the northeast so I do keep it moving across many towers during the day while I am driving.
